Fireflies are not flies, they are bettles. Located at Brgy. Iwahig, these delicate creatures nestle in marsh areas and live only on specific types of mangroves. They come in pack and once they feel threatened, they produce light called bioluminescence to frighten the predators, where it is hard to put in words without seeing it with your own eyes.
